HIRING DETAILS

A lot goes into getting just the kind of music you want for your event. You can get started by reading the details in the tabs below. Feel free to reach out to us with questions.
Here is the rate structure for hiring our ensembles:

Quintet (two violins, viola, cello, bass) | $650 | $550 | $450 |
Quartet (two violins, viola, cello) | $550 | $450 | $350 |
Trio (two violins and cello) | $450 | $350 | $250 |
Duo (two cellos, or violin & cello) | $400 | $300 | $200 |
We also can include other instrumentalists and singers, and will quote specifically in those cases.
For engagements within the Sacramento metro area, no travel fee is charged. Outside of the area, a travel fee of as much as $200 is appended to the cost.
There is no fee for meals, tolls or lodging in ordinary circumstances, but in some cases involving extensive travel, this would be requested.
Typical arrival time is 30-45 minutes prior to beginning to play. If there are special circumstances affecting our access to the location, such as needing to offload to golf carts to get to the site, we will modify our arrival time accordingly.
As primarily acoustic musicians, we have simple needs when it comes to physical setup. We provide music stands and lights, and any electric cords we might need.
What we need from the venue includes:
- Shade or protection from direct sun and rain
- Straight chairs
- 3-prong electrical outlet nearby
- Designated area for storing cases and valuables
When we have confirmed that we will play for your event, we will generate a contract outlining all details which serves as an invoice.
The information we will need includes:
- Names of principals, bride, groom, etc.
- Email/text info for principals
- Type of event
- Date of event
- Hours of event
- Location
- On-site contact
- Total cost, and amount of non-refundable deposit (25%)
- Music preferences and special requests
- Other details as needed
